Strategy Sequence Group ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Loco Dad Stats mobile application ("the App").
This policy complies with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.
Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please discontinue use of the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account information: email address and display name when signing up with email/password, Apple ID, or Google
- Game data: team names, player names, game statistics, scores, and notes you enter into the App
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
- Usage data: features used, screens visited, and app performance data
- Authentication tokens: used to keep you signed in securely
2.3 Information Collected Through Third-Party Services
When you use the App, the following third-party services may collect information on our behalf:
- Firebase (Google): Handles authentication, data storage, and basic analytics. Firebase may collect device identifiers and usage data. Firebase Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat: Manages subscription purchases and entitlements. RevenueCat receives your app user ID and purchase history. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
- Anthropic: When you use the Scout Report AI feature, your team statistics are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests. Anthropic Privacy Policy
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Provide and improve the App's features
- Process subscription payments through Apple
- Generate AI-powered Scout Report responses
- Send verification and password reset emails
- Respond to your support requests
- Ensure compliance with our Terms of Service
- Analyze anonymous usage patterns to improve the App
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: With Firebase, RevenueCat, and Anthropic as described in Section 2.3, solely to provide the App's services
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase's cloud infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS)
- Secure authentication tokens
- Access controls limiting who can access your data
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data according to the following schedule:
- Active accounts: Data is retained for as long as your account is active
- Inactive free accounts: Accounts with no activity for 12 months may have their data deleted
- Cancelled subscriptions: Data is retained for 90 days after cancellation to allow for resubscription. After 90 days, data may be permanently deleted
- Deleted accounts: Upon account deletion request, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- Scout Report queries: AI query data is not stored by us. Please refer to Anthropic's privacy policy for their data retention practices
7. Your Rights (PIPEDA)
Under Canada's PIPEDA, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information
- Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw consent to our processing of your data at any time

8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information immediately.

9. Email Communications
We may send you the following emails:
- Transactional emails: Account verification and password resets, sent from noreply@locodadstats.com via SendGrid
- Service notifications: Important updates about the App or your subscription
We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent. You may opt in to marketing communications within the App at any time.
10. Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data to help us understand how the App is used and improve its features. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users. Analytics data helps us understand:
- Which features are used most frequently
- Where users may experience difficulty
- Overall app performance and stability
You can opt out of Firebase Analytics by adjusting your device's advertising settings under Privacy settings on your iPhone.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
The date of the most recent revision will always be indicated at the bottom of this page.
